This destination wedding was set in Masseria Potenti, Puglia. The place is quite big and offer many gracious spots for pictures and a large variety of plants and elegant corners. Surrounded by a waste countryside, this venue is in the middle of olive trees close to the mediterranean sea. You can smell you are in south of Italy, everything is warmer and taste of lived traditions, salt, mint and fresh vegetables. It’s a mystic mix that instantly shake your mind and your senses and let you be present and connected to this incredible land, passes by centuries of Aragon, barbarous, Greek culture.
Dan and Emma met online 4 years ago through a music dating website that matches their music tastes, although soon found out they had friends in common too as well as out taste in music. They love travelling, seeking out unique places, scuba diving, of course they also are massive foodies and enjoy going to food markets and the new restaurants. Puglia was the perfect place for this! Their parents are quite different to each others but have got on with each other when they have met. Emma is very close to her mother and definitely has a special relationship with her. Her best friend Sophie is one of her bridesmaids and also marrying Emma’s brother later in the year! Half of Dan’s family is from Israel and his family is Jewish.
We were there and we can tell for sure there was an incredible, elegant and overwhelming atmosphere.
A special thanks to Guido Andreoni for the help!
