Relaxing real wedding in Locanda Rossa, Capalbio – Tuscany
Southern Tuscany is a vast and silent land, at night you can see many more stars than other provinces and many of the hills are inhabited by farm animals. In the middle of this area there is the Locanda Rossa, a luxury resort near Capalbio run by a friendly and very professional staff. Nancy and Nick decided to get married in this picture painted by gentle countryside winds, in the central Italy, beside the sea, in a red land rich of long experience.
We stayed with them a whole weekend, actively participating in their first rehearsal brunch at the beach on Friday, an event that is continued with a pizza party by the pool and then to their wonderful wedding on Saturday. They decided to get married in the small and lovely church in Capalbio called St. Nicola. This church is of medieval origin such as around the small town that surrounds it, crowded with small craftsmen scattered in his short and narrow streets. The country seemed clapping and the windows overlooked several inhabitants intrigued by the elegant English hats worn by the guests who came from all over the world.
The day continued at the Locanda Rossa, on large areas surrounded by nature, between well-decorated tables next to the pools and aperitifs in the meadow. Nancy and Nik they met through mutual friends, they are two guys who love life, are sophisticated and appreciate the finer things in addition to travel, tennis and children. Nancy is a CNBC presenter while Nik is a regular commentator. Seeing them always smiling and accomplices was a real pleasure, we breathed a special and confidential air, accompanied by the notes of their romance. The entire wedding, observed from those many stars visible only from remote and beautiful places like this, was full of magic and genuine simplicity.
