We met Allison and Davide a few days ago, near the portico of the Uffizi Museum in the historic center of Florence.
They came from the USA to plan their big day, and of course to enjoy Florence – Davide’s hometown – in the late warm days of autumn.
Having an engagement shoot in Florence is a very romantic choice. This little town has a lot to offer, from the Uffizi Museum, the Oltrarno neighborhood, The Dome area, San Lorenzo Market. In every part of the city you can up your chin and know immediately where you are basing on the position of the Dome and on the Giotto Tower. These two building are dominating the entire city skyline and are always a landmark. Florence has become very popular on Instagram too and its one of the most preferred wedding destination choice around the world. Tuscany is a small land in the center of Italy with a flourishing culture for food and healthy life. We are always happy to offer our engagement shoot or proposal shoot here in Florence, where we based. We are easy people to work with and we like to make things simple to our clients. Most of the time its the first time they are going to be pictures and we want to give them pictures that represent themselves completely, making them feeling comfortable. Our philosophy is simple, one shot, one story.
With Allison and Davide we talked a lot about their relationship and their plan to get married in Florence. An engagement shoot was the best idea to start this adventure together with us. We walked and got lost in many little streets of the city, we stopped in different corners and we were lucky enough to got kissed by a warm and summer light. We usually do not set a specific tour, there is always a certain improvisation in what we do because every couple is different and every day has a different light.
This is what happened with them, a romantic American couple in Florence for an engagement shoot:
